M35 with NGC 2158

M35 is a beautiful open cluster in Gemini, and visually a stunning sight
in telescopes of all apertures. It is a fairly typical young open cluster
containing mainly blue stars. In the same field, but over 10 times further
away is the very old open cluster NGC 2158, whose elder members shine mostly
yellow and red.
