IC 405 and IC 410 (SII/Ha/OIII)

The Flaming Star Nebula (IC405, top
right)
in the same field of view as IC 410
(left). The two objects are actually part of the same nebula complex.
This image was taken through SII, Hα, and OIII filters which are mapped
respectively to red, green, and blue to form this false colour image.
This was my first attempt at tri-colour narrowband imaging.

This is a mosaic of 2 frames taken over several nights. This was
shot through an Astrodon 6nm H-alpha filter.
